| About Us Business is still done with a handshake at Valley View Packing; one of California's foremost producers of prunes and prune juice concentrates. This tradition of honor and integrity has sustained the Rubino family and Valley View Packing since Pietro Rubino settled in San Jose, California in 1886. What began with Pietro's 18 acre prune orchard has flourished into Valley View Packing Company which today operates a state-of-the-art concentrating plant, a large scale dehydration facility, and farms approximately 2000 acres in Northern California. Under the care and management of the third generation of Rubino family members, Valley View Packing has continued to grow a strong presence in the prune and tree fruit industry. |
